Commercial Solar Installation - Boyne Island

We recently had the pleasure of completing a 20 kW commercial solar system for Wistari Pool Solutions in Boyne Island, Queensland. This job meant a lot to us—not just because it was a solid install, but because it was for a fellow local business right here in our community.

The customer, an engineer, was looking to make the most of the current Ergon feed-in tariffs, which reward you with credits for feeding excess solar energy back into the grid. Knowing these incentives might not stick around forever, he made the smart call to oversize the system and lock in the benefits while they’re still available.

He also took advantage of the $20,000 instant asset write-off, making sure the system was installed and invoiced before the 30 June deadline—another smart financial move that added even more value to the investment.

To maximise solar production across the day, we installed panels on the north, east, and south-facing sections of the roof—using every bit of space available to get the most out of the system. The result was a highly efficient and well-balanced solution, and we were proud to hear just how happy the client was with the end result.
