Troy from Reef Solar & Electrical has been great to work with during the entire process.From the beginning, the process was thorough and professional. He asked for my power bills and did the math based on average sun hours throughout the year and the updated lower tariffs to show exactly how much I could expect to save (which was and has been at least half my power bill). He provided a detailed PDF with the figures, a mock-up of the system design and look, and walked me through the brand, inverter details, the phone app, Ergon website and even future options like adding batteries and hybrid inverter.Communication was excellent throughout. Troy stayed in constant contact and kept me updated everything. Originally, he mentioned being booked out for 6-8 weeks, but I got a pleasant surprise call saying they could install the following week.The installation itself was speedy completed in just a couple of days, and the team was polite, tidy, and efficient. The pricing was also very competitive, making the whole package great value for money. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the experience and would highly recommend them. The system works great and I've had no faults or issues since the installation. I have received a power bill since the installation and the information originally provided has been pretty much spot on with the bill in terms of cost/savings on my power.

Technical info, Warranties & Finance

Our experienced solar professional will explain all the components of your tailored solar system, any technical concerns or information. We can explore finance options, if need be, and discuss warranties and much more.

Paperwork

Once you have decided to go solar, you will accept our quote online and wait for our friendly admin staff to send you a welcome email. At this stage we will request a photo of your switchboard and a copy of your power bill.

Then we have some paperwork to do! But don’t worry we take care of it all for you, you don’t have to do a thing. It’s up to us to apply to Ergon to get the ball rolling.

System Installation

Our admin staff will call and arrange your system installation date. Usually, the install will be complete in one day. After the install there is yet more paperwork to do – but don’t worry, we will handle all the paperwork, permits and approvals required. You will receive an email asking you to sign that we have completed the install so that you can access the federal government STC rebates! Apart, from that you don’t have to worry about a thing. On the day of installation, our solar panel installers will take care of your property and ensure we clean up any mess before we leave.

Support & Maintenance

REEF SOLAR & ELECTRICAL is not your average solar company. You will receive support for the lifetime of your system from us. Each year we will send out an email reminding you about solar panel cleaning services and if you ever have any concerns, we are a phone call away.
